Abstract

The conditions of a full-scale war in Ukraine have led to unprecedented pressure on the mental health of the population, which requires the search for effective interventions for psycho-emotional recovery and support of internal human resources. The present study analyzes the role of self-realization as one of the key factors of psychological stabilization and personal growth in crisis circumstances. Particular attention is paid to the assessment of psycho-emotional characteristics of representatives of two socially vulnerable groups, internally displaced persons and civilian witnesses of hostilities, as well as the effectiveness of coaching programs aimed at improving their psycho-emotional state and level of self-realization. The study assessed levels of stress, anxiety, depression, PERMA components, as well as self-satisfaction and professional achievement before and after coaching. the results indicate that supporting and developing certain aspects of self-realization (in particular, through engagement and achievement) can play a key role in maintaining psychological well-being even in extreme conditions and indicate areas that require additional attention for full recovery. The study also considers cultural and social factors, emphasizing the role of collective resilience, professional identity, and social cohesion in its formation. The findings confirm the effectiveness of coaching as a modern tool for supporting mental health, developing self-realization and professional cohesion.
